- 3. Introduction of semen into Botswana
(1) No person shall introduce, or cause to be introduced into Botswana any semen unless such semen is accompanied by a written permit by the Director authorizing the introduction of such semen.
(2) The Director may in granting a permit under the provisions of subregulation (1) impose such conditions as may appear to him necessary or expedient for preventing the introduction to and spread in Botswana of diseases of stock.
(3) Any person who contravenes the provisions of subregulation (1) or who contravenes any condition imposed under the provisions of subregulation (2) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable to the penalties prescribed in regulation 5. - Reference of the measure
