Establishment Of Statutory Measure Registration Of Certain Persons In Respect Of Dried Fruit

his Statutory Measure, made by the Minister of Forestry and Fisheries under sections 13 and 19 of the Marketing of Agricultural Products Act, 1996, requires producers, packers, processors, marketers and exporters of dried fruit (as defined in this Notice) to register with the Dried Fruit Technical Services (DFTS). Registration is necessary to enable DFTS to make available continuous, timely and accurate market information in respect of dried fruit which is essential for decision making and development of the market.
