Description of the measure
5. (1) No person shall introduce or cause to be introduced into Zambia any stock, carcass, article or other matter specified in the Third Schedule without a permit issued by the Director or an officer authorised by the Director. Such permit may be refused at the discretion of the Director without any reason being assigned.
10. (1) No person shall manufacture or sell or expose for sale in Zambia any virus, vaccine, serum or analogous product used for the diagnosis or treatment of diseases of animals, except under a permit in writing issued by the Director.
(2) A permit to manufacture or sell or expose for sale any of the substances mentioned in sub-regulation (1) shall be subject to such conditions as the Director may endorse on the permit.
