This Order governs the importation and exportation of wild animals.

Description of the measure

Article
Any importation of animal species shall be subject to an importation license issued by Rwanda Environment Management Authority.

Imported animal species should be accompanied with a health certificate issued by their Country of origin. Otherwise, they shall be considered as contaminated and provisions of Article 6 shall be applicable.
