Ban on importation of poultry and poultry products.  

Status note

During the 25th EAC Regional Forum on NTBs held from 9- 12 May 2018, Kenya and Rwanda reported that the ban on entry of poultry products from Uganda based on the ban from the Veternary and Health Regulatory Authorities had been lifted .  

Progress update note

During the meeting of SCTIFI that took place in November, 2017, Kenya reported that the Directorate of Veterinary Services will undertake investigations on the requirements to import poultry and poultry product in Kenya and report back to the next Regional Forum on NTBs.
