Delay of issuance of work permit by United Republic of Tanzania  
Status note
The issue is not about integrating the permits but the 'delays' in issuing the permit. This anomaly can be corrected. Focal points need to get more information on the nature of Delay. At the Tanzania NMC meeting, Immigration reported that the work permits are processed within 14 days maximum if all information is provided.  
Progress update note
The NMC meeting held in Dar-es- Salaam on 18 March, 2015, was informed that all permits are processed within 14 working days , provided all the relevant documents are submitted. The meeting directed focal points to find out the actual number of days it had taken for the complainant to get their permits processed , in order to establish whether there had been delays or not. If the delay is confirmed, the department of immigration would take corrective measures.
